PHY 103 - Heat, Buoyancy, & Climate Change1 course unit This course is a lab-based, inquiry driven introduction to concepts in physical science. The course focuses on heat, temperature, and buoyancy and their relationship to issues influencing global climate change. Students will develop fundamental scientific ideas through activities modeling scientific investigation. No mathematical preparation beyond secondary school algebra and geometry is required. This course satisfies the environmental perspective for EDU certification. Meets general academic requirement SC.
