PSC 101 - Introduction to American National Government1 course unit This course examines the constitutional foundations, institutions, and processes of American national government. Key issues explored include relationships between, and powers among, the main institutions of government - Congress, the Presidency, the Judiciary; citizenship and political behavior; campaigns and elections; political parties; the media; interest groups; and a range of contemporary public policy issues.
