BIO 114 - Humanity & the Biological World1 course unit The primary focus of this course is to examine the origin and nature of the life forms that exist today and the effect of human activity on those organisms. As a background for understanding those changes, the role of the environment and genetics in the evolution of living species will be studied. Review of biological, geological, and meteorological concepts will support the study. Prerequisite(s): Students who have taken BIO 150 , BIO 151 , or BIO 152 need permission of the instructor to enroll. Meets general academic requirement SC.
