1 course unit The course examines the complex relationship between politics and economics in the global system. Students will analyze inter-connected themes, such as the relationship between power and wealth, the politics of international trade and international monetary management, globalization’s impact on international, regional, and national economies. There is a particular focus on the theories and practice of international development. Prerequisite(s): PSC 103 Introduction to Comparative Politics & International Relations or IST 101 Introduction to International Studies.
