CHM 420 - Laser Chemistry0.5 course unit Students will explore the workings of lasers and how chemists take advantage of their properties to probe the dynamics and energies of chemical reactions. The course will begin with some commercial applications of lasers and progress rapidly to the discussion of femtosecond spectroscopy and how it is being used to investigate the breaking of bonds in real time.
