BIO 240 - Developmental Biology1 course unit An overview of the cellular, molecular, and developmental mechanisms that control embryogenesis from fertilization through organogenesis. Laboratories include the study of live embryos from sea urchins to chickens as well as preserved embryo slides. Three class hours plus three laboratory hours per week. Prerequisite(s): BIO 152 Principles of Biology III: Molecules & Cells .
