1 course unit Introduction to the role of statistical analyses in testing hypotheses in psychology. Students will learn both descriptive and inferential uses of statistics as they apply to a variety of research designs commonly used in psychology. This course also emphasizes scientific writing and the use of SPSS to conduct statistical analyses. Prerequisite(s): PSY 101 Introductory Psychology and MTH 104 Statistical Thinking or MTH 119 Statistical Analysis or MTH 121 Calculus I.
