BUS 236 - Management1 course unit As a field of study, management extends from the decision-making thought process of the manager to dynamic human interactions within the organization to relationships between business and society. We will explore the art of management and build our understanding of what managers do, the issues they face, and who they are as people. And, we’ll develop management skills and practice them both in class and in the context of our daily lives. Critical thinking will be developed through case studies and research, and awareness will be enhanced through survey instruments, learning teams, and class discussion.
