This course explores a variety of statistical techniques and models useful in making predictions about uncertain events with applications to the field of business. The course will cover the use of statistical software to process data, fit statistical models, and assess the models’ performance. Examples of techniques that may be covered include time series analysis, survival analysis, random forests, dimension reduction, and regularization.
