MAA 503 - Introduction to Analytics

This course introduces students to the process of using data to answer real-world questions in a business setting. Students will learn to clean data sets to prepare them for further analysis. The course provides an overview of the implementation, interpretation, and application of exploratory data analysis and statistical inference as key components of the data-analytics project lifecycle. Throughout the course, students use the statistical software R/RStudio to explore data both visually and numerically.
