Spanish A.B.

To declare a major in Spanish a student must have a grade point average of at least 2.00 in the intermediate language courses or demonstrate an equivalent mastery of the language.

Majors in Spanish complete nine courses beyond the Intermediate II course, including:

• SPN 301 - Spanish Conversation & Composition 1 course unit
• SPN 304 - Advanced Spanish Conversation & Composition 1 course unit
• At least 4 courses at the 400-level
• One CUE

Note

All majors must maintain a grade point average of at least 2.00 in all courses required in the department.  The Advanced Conversation & Composition course (304) fulfills the College’s writing intensive course requirement.
