English as a Second Language (ESL) Certification

Muhlenberg College is accredited by the Pennsylvania Department of Education to offer the English as a Second Language Program Specialist K-12 Certificate. This program specialist certificate is designed to be added to the Instructional I certificate in PK-4 or secondary programs. The program is open to students in the traditional certification program, the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program, and to in-service teachers.
