The MASTER’S IN HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT & LEADERSHIP (MML) is designed for practicing physicians and clinicians who are either in a leadership role or desire a leadership role in a health care or hospital system. The program will prepare these individuals for current and future leadership positions and enable them to take advantage of opportunities and drive change in complex healthcare systems.
Flexible Structure
The master’s degree requires 10 courses, and we expect typical completion within 24 months. Graduate certificate options can provide a future pathway to completing the full master’s degree at a later time. The graduate certificate does not take the place of the master’s degree. However, it does provide an option to gain knowledge more quickly, adding a valuable credential to your background.
Our low-residency design accommodates the busy schedules and competing priorities of healthcare professionals. Each course is eight weeks long, with two courses each fall/spring semester and one during the summer term. This pattern creates a comfortable pace over 24 months, including generous breaks between semesters.
Each course is designed for online learning through a combination of asynchronous and synchronous learning activities. A program mentor is assigned to each cohort to help students stay on track and ensure the successful completion of their capstone project.
