The following are the requirements for the Pre K-4 Program:

Cognate Courses:

A biology course or a physical science course
A literature course

Two college level mathematics courses:

Students who are accepted into the Pre K-4 program may count EDU 201 - Introduction to Special Education: Diverse Learners & Inclusive Classrooms to satisfy one of the courses in the Advanced Course and Seminar requirement, and they may count EDU 104 - Educational Psychology: Child Learning & Development as an elective in the Psychology major.

Fees

A non-refundable fee of $35.00 will be charged for each course in which a student is enrolled in a course or courses requiring fieldwork. Students enrolling in EDU 950 - Student Teaching I and EDU 951 - Student Teaching II will pay a special fee of $400.00. This fee is non-refundable and due when the student applies for student teaching in January of the junior year.
