French Language Major Requirements
To declare a major in French Language a student must have a grade point average of at least 2.00 in the first FRN language course they take at Muhlenberg.
Students in the French Language Major complete nine course units, beginning with FRN 204 Intermediate French I. This must include a 300-level Topics in French and Francophone Studies and all 300-level courses in French, one of which may be in English.
Culminating Undergraduate Experience
All French Language majors need to complete a Culminating Undergraduate Experience in one of the following three formats:

Students must maintain at least a 2.00 grade point average in all courses required for the major.
Students in the French Language Major track may take one 300-level elective in English from a previously approved list of courses.
