Course unit(s):1 Prerequisite(s):THR 100 Theatre & Society: An Historical Introduction or THR 105 Performance & Society A survey of clothing from early Western civilization to the contemporary period. Special emphasis will be given to the placement of fashion in artistic, cultural, and historical contexts, and the application of historical costume research to performance design.
