PSY 305 - Adult Personal & Cognitive Development1 course unit This course is designed for students who are interested in becoming a Peer Learning Assistant. This course will explore current theories in psychology, neuroscience, and education relating to reasoning ability, problem-solving, learning, memory, and other relevant cognitive processes as they apply to adult learning. Students will gain experience in implementing teaching strategies with current available technology, and will learn how to engage with peers in a peer-teacher context. Prerequisite(s): Permission of instructor. Meets general academic requirement SL.
