INE 350 - The Practice of Entreprenuership

1 course unit
As juniors or seniors, students will apply their knowledge and experience in a venture of their own, or work in the community. The experiential components of the Practicum will be augmented by lectures, presentations, and in-depth interactions between students and Practicum faculty focusing on the skills required to start and scale a new venture.  Lectures include such topics as: equity splits, legal structures, strategy and tactics, troubleshooting and pivoting, presentation skills, ethics and financial acuity. At the completion of the Practicum, students will document and critically reflect on their Practicum experience in the form of a portfolio outlining their experience and reflecting upon what they have learned.
Prerequisite(s): Completion of all other courses for the Innovation & Entrepreneurship minor
