ACT 224 - Cost/Managerial Accounting1 course unit A study of cost and managerial concepts and their application to the planning and control of manufacturing and service firms. Topics include accounting for the production process (job order, process, standard, and activity based costing); performance and productivity measurement (profit planning, variance analysis, and responsibility accounting); and revenue and cost analysis for decision making (cost estimation, C-V-P analysis, and differential cost analysis). Prerequisite(s): ACT 101 - Financial Accounting . ACT 320, 321 - Intermediate Accounting I is recommended.
