Course unit(s):1 Prerequisite(s): PSY 101 Introductory Psychology and MTH 119 Statistical Analysis or MTH 121 Calculus I. Introduction to the role of statistical analyses in testing hypotheses in psychology. Students will learn both descriptive and inferential uses of statistics as they apply to a variety of research designs commonly used in psychology. This course also emphasizes scientific writing and the use of SPSS to conduct statistical analyses.
