BCM 441 - CUE: Advanced Biochemistry

An advanced, lecture-based Culminating Undergraduate Experience that takes a mechanistic perspective on enzymology, enzymopathy, and bioinformatics within cellular metabolism. While studying the central concept of metabolism, students learn to reason through complexity and develop skills to communicate science to expert and non-expert audiences through a semester-long project on human disease. Three hours of lecture per week.
