BCM 341 - Experimental Biochemistry

A laboratory-based, writing-intensive course concerned with reading, writing, and proposing research in biochemistry. In addition to laboratory based skills in the collecting, analyzing, and recording of data, students develop skills in the analytical reading and writing of scientific literature and in the design of an original research proposal. Students also work in teams on an original research project in the laboratory. Four hours of laboratory and three hours of lecture per week.
