ENG 375 - Postcolonial Literature1 course unit A study of English language literatures in former British colonies-in Africa, the Caribbean, Australia, and the Indian subcontinent and its Diaspora-focusing on the work of such writers as Walcott, Gordimer, Naipaul, Rushdie, and Soyinka, variously taught as a survey of these literatures or as a more concentrated study of the literature of one or two nations or regions. Alternate years. Meets departmental Transformations approach.Meets general academic requirement D and effective Fall 2013 DE.
