PHY 105 - Physics for Life1 course unit An inquiry-based introduction to the concepts of physics and physical science. Through in-depth study of simple physical systems, students gain direct experience with the process of science. The content of the course varies and will concentrate on one or two of the following topics: properties of matter, heat and temperature, light and color, magnets, electric circuits, fluids, and the physics of motion. No mathematical prerequisites beyond those of secondary school algebra and geometry. Meets general academic requirement S and effective Fall 2013 SC.
