History

Courses in History are numbered as follows:

  100 - 149 Acquaint students with the academic study of history.
  200 - 299 Concentrate on chronological studies of broad geographic regions.  
  300 - 399 Incorporate hands-on experiential learning and advanced research components. Students should take at least one college-level history courses before enrolling in a 300-level course.
  400 - 449 Reading Seminar in History - capstone experiences open only to majors and minors
  450 - 499 Research Seminar in History - capstone experiences open only to majors and minors
