Music Minor

Minor Requirements

Students minoring in music must complete five course units as follows:

MUS 150 - Engaging with Music I Course unit(s): 1
MUS 151 - Engaging with Music II Course unit(s): 1
Music History Elective
Music Theory/Composition Elective
MUS 901 - Individual Applied Music - First Area Course unit(s): 0.5 (two semesters) OR

MUS 101 - Introduction to Music , MUS 102 - Fundamentals of Music , and MUS 104 Pop, Rock, & Soul cannot be enrolled to fulfill any major or minor requirements although they may be useful for some students in preparing for required courses in the major and minor or of personal interest.
