PHL 250 - Philosophies of India1 course unit A foundational course that explores the central schools of Indian philosophy, including Vedanta, Samkhya, Nyaya, Jaina, and Buddhist thought. We will examine the arguments of competing metaphysics (theories of reality), epistemologies (theories of knowledge), logic, philosophies of mind, and the ways of life that they recommend. Meets general academic requirements HU and DE.
